The Joyful Sound choir made up of individuals with special needs will celebrate its 25th anniversary on Thursday with a spring concert at Henderson Hills Baptist Church, E Interstate 35 Frontage Road, where the group was formed.

Today I begin a new project, visiting a training school for young adults with a wide range of disabilities, where I will be teaching choir once a week for about an hour. I have never worked with this population before, and would love any suggestions veteran choir teachers may have for working with special needs students.
