      The aim of the present paper is to perform a review of recent advances made in the risk field, having a special focus on the fundamental ideas and thinking that form the generic risk research (II). The scope of such a review is broad, and it has been a challenge to select works for this review from among the many seminal contributions made over. Jeff is an Environmental Scientist with EPA’s Office of Water, Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water/Water Security Division. Since joining the Division inhe has served as the lead for Consequence Management under the Water Quality Surveillance and Response System program, and currently works on emergency response related.

The Environmental Protection Agency holds lead responsibility for protecting U.S. water systems, and in support of these responsibilities, the EPA developed the Water Security Research and Technical Support Action Plan. This report from the WSTB reviews the EPA Action Plan.

EPA has announced the review results for the Agency’s third Six-Year Review (called Six-Year Review 3). Based on the Agency's detailed review of 76 national primary drinking water regulations (NPDWRs), EPA concluded that eight NPDWRs are.
